Please note that you will have to verify your account before you can collect payments as well as withdraw the funds that you've collected.


​Supported Currencies

WeTravel allows you to set up trips to collect funds in 34 different currencies, including USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, AUD, and more. Our platform supports multi-currency checkout and holds funds in USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, AUD, NZD, DKK, NOK, SEK, PLN, CHF, HKD, and MXN. Payments made in any other currency are automatically converted into USD at the daily exchange rate.

Please note that funds collected in currencies other than those listed above are held in USD on WeTravel. As a result, exchange rate fluctuations may occur, meaning your funds could be worth more or less in the original currency when converted back.

WeTravel Fee

When processing payments through WeTravel, a WeTravel fee will be charged per transaction. Please also note that there is a minimum fee of $1.50 USD (or equivalent in other currencies).


Payment Processing Partners

When participants book on WeTravel, their payments are securely processed by our trusted payment partners, Stripe and Airwallex, two of the world’s leading payment providers.


Payment Processing Times

Card payments on WeTravel are processed instantly, while bank transfers take 5-7 business days to clear. During this period, the payment will show as "pending." After 5-7 business days, the payment will automatically change status to "successful" from "pending".



Refunds

Refunds usually take 5-10 business days to appear on the participant's bank statement. When you initiate a refund through WeTravel, your traveler will receive the full refund amount to their payment method. WeTravel will reimburse our fee, but we will deduct the card processing fee from your WeTravel balance. For local bank payments, refunds remain free of charge, as there is no card processing fee for bank transfers.

Note that if you price your trip in any currency other than the ones mentioned above, we will charge a WeTravel fee along with a 2.9% credit card fee.



Payouts to your Bank Account 🏦

Inter-wallet exchanges on WeTravel are free. Payouts to your local bank account are also free and usually take 2-3 business days* to be received. You can click here to read more and setup your bank account for local payouts!

 

Additionally, WeTravel offers the option to wire funds directly to your international bank account. It's important to note that wire transfers typically take 3-5 business days to process and incur a fee of $15 (or equivalent) per transfer. For more details, please refer to this support article.
