It’s totally free to create a WeTravel account and to create booking pages. There are no setup fees and no monthly or membership fees with our Basic plan. WeTravel trips can be set up to collect funds in multiple currencies, such as USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, ZAR, AUD, and almost any other currency.
Please note that you will have to verify your account before you can collect payments as well as withdraw the funds that you've collected.
WeTravel only keeps funds in USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, ZAR and AUD. Payments in currencies other than USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, ZAR and AUD are automatically converted into USD at the daily exchange rate. To check our processing fees and estimated times of delivery — see the tables below.
If you price your trip in any other currency than USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, ZAR or AUD we charge the same 1% + 30c processing fee plus a 2.9% credit card fee. (Bank transfers are only possible for USD/GBP/EUR-denominated trips and for US, UK, and European bank accounts).
You can price your trips in the following additional currencies on WeTravel: AED, AZN, BRL, CHF, CLP, COP, ILS, INR, ISK, JPY, KRW, MYR, MXN, NOK, NZD, PEN, RUB, SAR, SEK, SGD, THB, TRY, TWD.
All payments that are not in USD/GBP/EUR/CAD/AUD/ZAR are processed by Stripe. The funds collected will be automatically converted into USD at the daily exchange rate; fees and timelines are consistent with those shown for USD above and your “Amount Available” balance will be shown in USD. You can still convert that money back into the original currency and send a wire transfer.
Currency Rate Fluctuations: Please note that because funds collected in currencies other than those mentioned above are held in USD on WeTravel, there are exchange rate fluctuations. Depending on the exchange rate, your funds could be worth more or less in the original currency when you convert them back.
