How to make a SPEI payment?

Paying by SPEI: A quick guide

If you’re paying for your trip in MXN (Mexican pesos), SPEI is an instant, secure, and fee-free payment option available at checkout. It allows you to pay safely without incurring any additional charges.

Steps

Choose MXN as your currency from the dropdown list at checkout.



Complete the checkout steps:

  • Select your package(s)

  • Fill in participant information

  • Add any desired add-ons

  • Add Insurance if applicable

On the payment page, select SPEI as your payment method and enter your phone number (used only if we need to assist with your payment). Click Confirm Booking, then follow the on-screen instructions to securely complete the bank transfer.


You’ll see the SPEI payment details on screen, including the CLABE, amount, and reference number, along with a countdown timer. If you need additional banking details, click See additional information. Open your banking app and complete the transfer using these details before the timer expires.

After clicking "Confirm Booking," you will receive a booking receipt along with a separate email containing SPEI instructions. Once your payment is successfully processed, we will send a final confirmation email.

If the payment fails, we’ll notify you by email so you can try again.

If you prefer to use a different payment method, click “Choose a different payment method.” This will cancel the initial payment attempt and allow you to proceed with another option.

🚨 Important: If your payment fails or is not completed within 12 hours, your booking will remain active. To try paying again, please log in to your WeTravel account and complete the payment directly from there. You can find the steps to access your account here.

Processing time

SPEI payments typically clear instantly. Please complete the SPEI transaction immediately after viewing the payment instructions to avoid delays or issues.
