How to add your account to make CAD payouts and transfer funds

Learn how to add bank accounts to your WeTravel profile (personal, company & international accounts).

You need to enter your payout details in order to transfer your collected funds. This article will first explain how to do payouts to your own personal account. Then, we discuss how to do payouts to a company or transfer funds internationally.

Transfer money to your personal CAD bank account 

Go to the payout page by clicking on your name in the upper right corner and selecting "Payments". Select "My Accounts" from the left-hand side selection. You can always access your payout accounts through this link.


Click on "Add Local Payout Account":

After selecting the currency, you will be prompted to choose whether the account is a personal or a company account. Please choose Individual.



You will then be asked to provide the following information (please see screenshot above). 

After filling in the details, click "Continue" to complete the process. You can then begin using your local and free payout options.

Please keep in mind that payouts take 2-3 business days to arrive at the destination bank account.



Transfer money to a company account


Go to the payout page by clicking on your name in the upper right corner and selecting "Payments". Select "My Accounts" from the left-hand side selection. You can always access your payout accounts through this link.

Click on "Add Local Payout Account". After selecting the currency, you will be prompted to choose whether the account is a personal or a company account. Please choose Business. 



You will then be asked to provide the following information (please see screenshot above). 

After filling in the details, click "Continue" to complete the process. You can then begin using your local and free payout options.

You have now added your payout method and can transfer funds by clicking on "Transfer". Please keep in mind that payouts take 2-3 business days to arrive at the destination bank account.


"Transfer" button not available??

If you have added a payout method but you do NOT see the "Transfer" button to the right of the payout method, it means that your account verification is not yet complete. Please contact the WeTravel team so we can verify your identity and activate payouts for your account. See here how to get verified for payouts.

Please note that you can only add one local CAD bank account with WeTravel.
