How to make an ACH payment?

Step-by-step guide for making a payment using ACH direct debit in USD, including checkout steps, required bank details, and processing times.

If you're paying for your trip in USD, ACH is a fast, secure, and fee-free payment option available at checkout. It allows you to pay directly from your US bank account and is a convenient way to complete your booking.

Choose USD as your currency from the dropdown list at checkout.

Complete the checkout steps:

  • Select your package(s)

  • Fill in participant information

  • Add any desired add-ons

  • Review and purchase travel insurance, if available

On the payment page, select US Checking Account as your payment method. Enter your full name as it appears on the account. Then provide your routing number and account number. Before submitting, make sure to review the payment amount and all details carefully.

Your ACH payment is processed securely through Stripe, one of the world's leading payment providers. Payment information is encrypted and protected using industry-standard security measures to help safeguard your financial information throughout the payment process.

After submitting the payment

You'll receive a payment receipt immediately after completing your payment on our checkout page. Don't worry if the funds don't leave your account right away—direct debit payments can take some time to process, so please make sure you have sufficient funds available.

Once the payment has been fully processed and successfully received on our end, you'll receive a separate email confirmation letting you know your payment is complete. When viewing your bank account statement, the transaction will appear as WT* followed by the first 18 characters of your trip name, helping you identify your WeTravel payment.

Processing time

While your payment is being processed, it will show as "pending" on your booking dashboard. Payments typically clear within 5–7 business days.
