How to set and manage availability for your packages and trip

Under the “Pricing” tab, you can set the availability for each package.

Availability options

There are three ways to set availability. By default, it's set to Unlimited.

Unlimited:

The availability of the package will be unlimited and won’t be sold out until the trip's maximum group size is reached.

Limited:

You can add any number between 1 and 9999

Unavailable

You can set the package to unavailable to block the purchase of a package temporarily or to gauge interest before collecting bookings and payments.

Please note that once you connect a resource to a package, the availability of your package will be changed to "Based on resource availability" by default. Your customers will not see any resources attached/connected to the package they book, as this information is only available and fully managed by you, the trip organizer. You can learn more about it here.


If you have the waitlist option activated on the Basics tab of the trip builder, you can collect the emails of those participants who are interested in this package without having to change the group size or make all packages unavailable.

Participant View

The result your participants see when using Unavailable depends on the status of the group size (sold out or not) and the waitlist (toggled on or off).

Pre-registration

To show a package as pre-registration only, the trip has to have the following characteristics:

  • The waitlist is turned on under Trip Basics

  • The trip is not sold out in group size

  • Package availability is set as unavailable.

Not Available - no waitlist

To show a package as not available and without the option to join a waitlist, the trip has to have the following characteristics:

  • Waitlist turned off under Trip Basics

  • The trip is not sold out in group size

  • Package availability is set as unavailable.

Sold Out - no waitlist

To show a package as sold out and without the option to join a waitlist, the trip has to have the following characteristics:

  • Waitlist turned off under Trip Basics

  • The trip is sold out in group size

  • Package availability is set as limited or unlimited.

Sold Out - with a waitlist

To show a package as sold out and show it has the option to join a waitlist, the trip has to have the following characteristics:

  • The waitlist is turned on under Trip Basics

  • The trip is sold out in group size

  • Package availability is set as limited or unlimited.

OR

  • The waitlist is turned on under Trip Basics

  • The trip is not sold out in group size

  • The package is set as limited and has been sold out
