How do I add a bank account to make wire transfers?

Learn how to easily add a beneficiary bank account on WeTravel.

You can only add a bank account that is in your own (business) name. Please use our Supplier Transfer feature to pay suppliers or partners directly on WeTravel.

WeTravel partners with industry leaders in order to send money transfers across the globe in the most efficient way possible. In order to send a wire, you will first need to add a beneficiary bank account on WeTravel. Please go to your "Payments" page and click on "My Accounts".

Once in "My Accounts", please click on the blue “Add Wire Transfer Account” button under the Wire Transfer Accounts section:



On the next page, you will be able to enter the following:

  • Beneficiary Details

  • Your contact information

  • Bank Information*

  • Additional Information (applicable to a small list of countries)



Please note that some of the fields will be auto-populated based on your earlier choices when filling in the details.

IMPORTANT: Please find the list of unsupported countries here.

All wire transfers have to be related to your trips and business and the wire transfer service cannot be used to send funds to non-business related accounts.

We would like to inform you that transfers to the following currencies are not supported:

ANG, ARS, AWG, AZN, BBD, BMD, BND, BOB, BRL, BSD, BTN, BYN, BYR, BZD, COP, CRC, DZD, FKP, GIP, GTQ, GYD, HNL, HTG, IQD, ISK, KGS, KMF, KYD, KZT, LBP, LYD, MDL, MKD, NAD, NIO, NPR, PAB, PYG, SLE, SRD, SVC, SZL, TMT, UAH, UYU, UZS, VEF, XCD, YER.

You can send USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD or any other supported wallet currency to any country you wish. However, before doing so, please confirm that your bank can receive the chosen currency and convert it to your local currency. Please be aware that there may be fees associated with converting and receiving funds.

That’s it! You have successfully added your wire transfer account:



While we do not send a confirmation email to you once the wire transfer account is added, you will be able to see a green “Transfer” button to the right of a successfully saved beneficiary. Click here to learn more about how to initiate a wire transfer.

WeTravel uses both iACH and SWIFT methods. Please note that we send wires to the US through ACH by default. Kindly provide the ACH routing number (routing number for electronic transfers) when required.

*Please be informed that ABA routing numbers are used for paper or check transfers. ACH routing numbers are used for electronic transfers.
