My Trips by WeTravel – Mobile App for Travelers

The My Trips by WeTravel app lets your participants view their full trip itinerary directly on their phone.

What Can Travelers Do with the App?

The mobile app is for participants only and is designed to make their travel experience smoother. With the app, your customers can:

  • View the full itinerary for their trip.

  • Get real-time updates if the organizer makes any changes.

  • See real-time flight status if you have enabled flight updates.

  • See daily activities, times, locations, and notes.

  • Know exactly what’s happening, when, and where, even if there are last-minute changes.

  • Tap Book Now (if applicable) to reserve their spot.

Note: The app is view-only. You will still need to manage itineraries through the desktop version of WeTravel.

How to share an Itinerary

You can share your itinerary via the "Share" button located in the top right-hand corner of the page:

Where to Download the App

Travelers can download the My Trips by WeTravel app from their app store:

Once the app is installed, they can open it and follow the on-screen instructions:

Any link to a WeTravel itinerary will automatically open directly within the app. There is no need to log in or set passwords.

If participants don’t have the app installed, opening a WeTravel itinerary link will prompt them to download the My Trips by WeTravel App.

How do Participants find the QR code?

Once the itinerary has been shared with the customer, the mobile icon will lead them to the QR code:

Updating the App

To receive the best version of the app, it is important to always keep it updated. Once an update happens, you will have to open each itinerary while online to make sure that the latest information is downloaded correctly.

Who Should Use the App?

The app is ideal for trip participants who want to access their itinerary on the go, travelers who prefer a mobile-friendly version of their schedule, and anyone looking for quick, convenient access to trip details without having to dig through emails.

TIP: The app is also available offline and updates automatically once an internet connection is restored.


FAQ

Can I use the My Trips App to edit the itineraries?

No, you can only view the itineraries. Editing will still have to be done through the portal WeTravel in a browser.

Can participants view their trips in the My Trips App?

The My Trips app is only for itineraries created using the Itinerary Builder.

What happens if I make any changes to the itinerary?

The app automatically retrieves data from your published itinerary—no manual updates are necessary! Participants will see the new information as soon as you make changes.

Can the My Trips App Be Used to Manage Bookings or Payments?

Currently, the My Trips by WeTravel app is view-only. To manage your booking or make a payment, please log in at www.wetravel.com using the same email address you used when booking your trip.

That said, you can link an itinerary directly to a trip for online booking using our book now buttons. Once connected, your clients will have the ability to make a reservation via a pop-up on their screen.
