How to deactivate a trip?

Learn how to hide a trip without losing any of the information collected.

Do you have past trips that you'd like to hide or have you put one of your trips on pause for the time being? Learn how to deactivate a trip without losing any of the trip or participant information.

Just go to My Trips and select "Deactivate" from the drop-down menu next to it.

 

Deactivating a trip does not cancel existing bookings—travelers are still scheduled to go, so they should be informed of any changes. Once deactivated:

  • The trip is no longer accessible via its URL and cannot receive new bookings.

  • Your team can still access the trip dashboard, and booked clients can access their dashboards.

  • Manual payments are still possible, but automatic payment reminders and payments are stopped.

  • Automatic emails for booking modifications and review requests will still be sent.

If you want to stop all emails, including booking modification updates, consider archiving the trip instead.

Please note that the participants will not receive any emails to inform them that the trip has been deactivated.


You can reactivate the trip at any time by going to Deactivated Trips on the left-hand side menu and then selecting "Reactivate" from the drop-down menu:
