A Trip ID is an optional, user-generated identifier you can assign to a trip. It acts as a custom reference label that makes it easier to organize, search for, and track your trips across WeTravel.
Setting a Trip ID
You can add a Trip ID in the Trip Basics section of the Trip Builder when creating a Full Trip or when creating a Payment Link. The field is optional — if you don't add one, your trip will still be identified by its title.
Pro users can add a Trip ID to both the Full Trip and the Payment Link.
Basic users can only add a Trip ID when creating a Payment Link.
Note: The Trip ID is not visible to clients and appears only in the organizer's dashboard and reports. Team members with permissions to view this trip will also see the ID.
Where Trip ID appears
Once set, your Trip ID surfaces in several places:
Trips Report — shown alongside the Trip Title as a unique identifier. You can filter and sort trips by ID in the report dashboard.
Zapier Integration — Trip ID is available as a data point on both the New Lead and New Transaction triggers, allowing you to map it to other tools in your Zap.
Tip: Using consistent Trip IDs (e.g., matching your internal booking system codes) makes it easier to reconcile WeTravel data with your own records.
