September updates: What’s live now and what’s coming soon in WeTravel

Updated yesterday

The Travel Innovation Summit is where the industry comes together to share ideas and learn from each other. During the event, our CEO Ted Clements and CPO Josh Chang hosted a product spotlight session to show where WeTravel is headed next. Here is everything you need to know.

WeTravel Partner Hub — your network for growth

The upcoming Partner Hub lets you discover and be discovered to grow your network and business. Search for vetted partners by your specific trip needs, and if you are a DMC or supplier, update your profile to stay in front of 8,000 travel organizers who use WeTravel.

When it is time to pay or get paid, send or request funds instantly and for free with a WeTravel Transfer. You can also send or request funds via wire transfer, bank transfer, or card.

Discover the partners you need, and manage and pay them, or request payment, without friction or fees. Pre-register below to be notified when it is live.

What’s new in the Itinerary builder

From first proposal to trip delivery, Itinerary Builder helps you grow sales and save time. The latest updates make it even easier:

  • You can now search for restaurant and activity information in Public Content Libraries, just like with hotels. Add polished descriptions and images instantly — no need to copy and paste details from a supplier’s website.

  • You can also import images from any website. In the item, scroll to Images and click “Import from website.” Insert the URL, and we will show all available images from that page so you can add them to your itinerary with one click.

  • Make itineraries searchable online: set them to Public in Settings, or keep them private when you want to share only with select clients.

  • Now you can track how visitors interact with the itinerary and convert by connecting Google Analytics 4 (GA4).

More improvements are coming, and soon you will be able to use AI Smart Import to upload a PDF from a partner or DMC and turn it into a polished, editable itinerary in seconds.

We also hosted a live workshop, Build Itineraries to Wow Travelers, where we shared simple tips to make your itineraries more effective and engaging.

Keep groups organized with Lists

Use Lists to segment large groups into smaller ones for rooms, buses, or activities. Create as many lists as you need, assign participants to groups, and share the complete list with suppliers to keep trip logistics organized.

Avoid last-minute changes in participant information

Late edits to participant details can cause confusion for your team and suppliers. With the new ability to lock questions, you decide when answers can no longer be changed.

Together with automatic Participant Tasks reminders, locking questions helps you stay in control and keep trip logistics running smoothly.
