Freezing and Unfreezing your WeTravel Card
You can easily freeze and reactivate your card with a single click. Simply navigate to the WeTravel Card section, select the card you want to manage, and click "Freeze Card." The status will be updated instantly, and you can unfreeze it anytime when needed.
After freezing your card, you will not be able to process any transactions. You must unfreeze it to use it again.
Terminating your WeTravel Card
To permanently close your WeTravel Card, open the card you wish to manage and click on the three dots menu. Select "Terminate Card" to proceed. Please note that this action is irreversible—once terminated, the card cannot be used for future transactions. However, you will still have access to export your transaction history if needed.
After termination, the card will appear with a "Terminated" status in your card list.
Please note that any refunds issued to terminated cards should be credited to your general card balance.
Dispute unknown charges
If you see a transaction on your WeTravel Card that you don’t recognize, you can dispute it directly from your account. To dispute a transaction, click the three dots next to it, select "Dispute," and provide all the necessary information and documentation during the process. The more information you add, the greater the chances of building a strong case on your behalf.
Please note that if you dispute the charge as fraudulent, we will need to completely terminate the card to prevent any further fraudulent activity.
You can also manually send your dispute request and all the details to info@wetravel.com for assistance. Please remember that disputes must be filed within 120 days of the transaction, and resolution can take up to 90 days.
Additionally, we strongly suggest contacting the merchant directly, as they may be able to resolve the issue more quickly and reverse the transaction.
Note: There is no guarantee that a dispute will be resolved in the organizer’s favour. The key factors in improving the chances of a successful outcome include providing strong, relevant evidence and ensuring it is submitted within the required deadline.
