Why are some of my funds On Hold?

Delaying funds availability is a common industry practice to help ensure the safe and secure use of WeTravel by both travelers and organizers. We do this to ensure there is enough money in your WeTravel account to resolve any issues that may arise with your account such as chargebacks and credit card disputes. The funds can temporarily not be transferred to your account. The money still belongs to you and can be used to refund travelers, and will be made available once a trip has been completed and no complaints or disputes have been received. 


What can I do with On Hold funds?

You can use it anytime to refund your users. If you don't have any available balance, or the balance is insufficient to initiate a refund to one of your participants, the refund will be deducted from your On Hold balance. The same applies to disputes your bookings might receive.

On Hold balance cannot be used for payouts, international wire transfers, vendor transfers or transferring to your WeTravel Card.
