It’s totally free to create a WeTravel account and to create your listing. There are no setup fees, no monthly fees, and no membership fees. You'll only ever be charged if you sell a trip. WeTravel trips can be set up to collect funds in currencies other than USD, such as GBP, EUR, CAD, ZAR, AUD, CHF and almost any other currency.

WeTravel only keeps funds in USD, GBP, and EUR. These are also the currencies for which we offer direct debit options (ACH for US / BACS for GBP / SEPA for EUR). Payments in other currencies are automatically converted into USD at the daily exchange rate.

GBP Pricing

BACS Direct Debit: 1% + 30p/transaction

Credit & Debit Cards: 2.9% + 30p/transaction

Payouts: 45p per transfer (instant transfer)

There are no other fees.

EUR Pricing

SEPA Direct Debit: 1% + 30cent/transaction

Credit & Debit Cards: 2.4% + 30cent/transaction

Payouts: Free

There are no other fees.

Pricing for all other currencies

If you price your trip in any other currency than USD, GBP or EUR, we charge the same 1% transaction fee to the trip organizer plus a 2.9% credit card fee to the participant (Bank transfers are only possible for USD/GBP/EUR-denominated trips and for US, UK, and European bank accounts).

All payments that are not in USD/GBP/EUR are automatically converted into USD at the daily exchange rate. Your “Amount Available” balance will be shown in USD. You can still convert that money back into the original currency and send a wire transfer.

Credit and Debit Cards: 3.9%

Payouts: $15 wire transfer fee (no percentage fee)

Currency Rate Fluctuations: Please note that because the funds are held in USD, there are exchange rate fluctuations. Depending on the exchange rate, your funds could be worth more or less in the original currency when you convert them back.
