USD, EUR and GBP payments

Participants will see "WT* " and the first 18 characters of the trip name as the statement descriptor in their credit card or bank account statement.

Example: If your trip title is "Enchanted Hills Adventure Retreat: Hiking and Views" the statement descriptor will say "WT* ENCHANTED HILLS AD".

You might want to think about adding your company name as the first thing in the trip title, that way it will be definitely reflected in your participant's credit card or bank account statement.

Please note that EUR SEPA transactions can appear as "WeTravel BV" and USD ACH transactions as "WeTravel Inc" on the clients' bank statements. This depends on the bank's individual policies.

USD payments when your own Stripe Standard account has been connected

Your users will see the first 22 characters of the trip name on their card or bank statement. This has proven to be the best way to minimize complaints from customers about unrecognized credit card charges.

Merchant Credit Card Category - MCC

WeTravel's credit card merchant category is 'Business Services (7399)'.

GBP (BACS), AUD, CAD, ZAR payments

Participants will see "WETRAVEL" and sometimes "MANGOPAY SA" as the statement descriptor in their credit card or bank account statement.
