Your Home dashboard is where your day starts. It brings your trips, your incoming payments, and your to-dos together in one view, so you know exactly what needs attention the moment you log in. There's nothing to switch on - you will land here automatically, and you can always find your way back from the left-hand navigation.
What's on your Home dashboard
The dashboard is made up of tiles. Each tile covers one thing you'd otherwise have to go dig for separately.
Upcoming Trips
Shows your upcoming trips and payment links, how full each trip is, its payment status, and the amount still to collect. You can filter the list by trip type, payment status, or date range, and choose how many trips to display at once. Recurring trips show as one row per departure date.
Available Balance
Your current balance, shown per currency based on the wallets you opened here. Balances are never converted or added together - if you hold funds in USD and EUR, you will see two currencies to select.
This reflects your native WeTravel payment balance only. If you have a connected Stripe Standard account, that balance does not display here.
Overdue Payments
The total amount overdue and who owes it, with a Remind button that opens a message to the traveler.
Clicking View details opens the full list of overdue payments, filterable by currency and sortable by how overdue each one is, with a total outstanding amount at the top.
From there, clicking Remind on any row opens a message with a personalized payment link - the payment stays on the list until it's actually paid.
Upcoming Payments
The total expected funds coming in over the next 30, 90, or 180 days.
Like your balance, this total is shown per currency - amounts aren't combined or converted into one figure.
Tasks
Open tasks are listed by due date and can be filtered to show only those assigned to you or all open tasks. Ticking off a task here or on its linked record removes it from that record's task list, though it remains visible on the full Tasks page. A daily email notification is also sent when a task is assigned, due, or overdue, so nothing is missed even when the dashboard is not in view.
Activity Feed
New opportunities, bookings, and payments that may need your attention.
Under this tile, you will see opportunity updates like a traveler asking a question on your form, joining a waitlist, or abandoning checkout; payment updates like failed, refunded, and processed payments; and booking updates like new bookings, added travelers, and add-ons that are added or cancelled.
Onboarding Checklist
A 5-step checklist shown only to new organizers: get verified, create your first trip, add your branding, connect your email, and invite your team.
👉🏽 The checklist disappears on its own once every step is completed or after 30 days, whichever happens first. If you dismiss it early instead, it comes back after 3 days as a reminder.
Customising your Home dashboard
Tiles can be resized, reordered, or removed. Arrange it however works best for you via the Customise option.
Your layout is tied to your own login, not the organizer account - so if you share an organization with teammates, everyone can set up their dashboard exactly the way they like.
Any changes you make are saved automatically, ready and waiting the next time you log in.
Note: Your dashboard stays current every time you load or refresh the page - just refresh anytime you want to see the very latest numbers and activity.
Permissions on the Home dashboard
The Home dashboard doesn't introduce a new permission system - it simply reflects the access your team members already have.
Financial tiles (Available Balance, Overdue Payments, Upcoming Payments, and amount still to collect) require Payouts & Reports access. Team members without it will see a "No access" state on those tiles.
Team members only see trips they already have access to under your existing trip-permission rules - the dashboard doesn't widen or narrow that.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be on the Pro plan to use the Home dashboard?
The Home dashboard is available to every organizer, Basic and Pro alike.
The numbers on my dashboard don't match what I see elsewhere - what's wrong?
Probably nothing! The dashboard updates on page load, so a quick refresh will bring it in line with any changes you've made elsewhere in WeTravel.
I don't see the payment or balance figures on my dashboard - why?
This is likely a permissions setting - financial tiles need Payouts & Reports access, the same as payment reports do today. Your organizer can grant you access if you need it.
I have an external Stripe Standard account connected - why doesn't my Available Balance tile match it?
The Available Balance tile only ever reflects your native WeTravel payment balance. Connected Stripe Standard accounts are not included in that figure.
Will business payment requests or QR payments show up on my dashboard?
Right now, the Home dashboard highlights full trips and payment links. Business payment request and QR payment visibility are on our radar for a future update.
